Robert Grumbles, Board member and Community Outreach coordinator, for Major Waldron Sportsman’s Association, attended The Barrington Chamber of Commerce mtg, Aug 3. joining this vibrant and exciting Chamber!

Major Waldron is located at 339 Franklin Pierce Hwy and we have been proud to call Barrington our Home since our inception in 1931. Our mission statement and core values center around outdoor and indoor firearms shooting, archery as well as firearm safety education and conservation of our natural resources. As one of the largest and oldest Clubs in New England, we are proud to be a part of the local Business Community. Every year we host a variety of events and outreach programs targeted at our community. In addition, we support our (and other) local Municipal Public safety departments by hosting range qualification events both at the city, county and state level to help our Law enforcement Officers.

Had a good turnout for the Member's Picnic and Life Member's recognition! Little over 30 people, of whom 17 were Life Members! Shout out to KU and Mrs O for making sure the food kept flowing, and the Epping Market Basket for another great cake!

Due to an increased number of reports of binary triggers being used on the Outdoor Range with concerns of all shots not hitting the berm and potentially not remaining on our range, the Board of Directors is implementing an emergency Rule Change to the Outdoor Range Rules effective immediately to ban the use of binary triggers and any other modification intended to increase a firearms rate of fire approximating full auto. See wording below.
